Nandan persimmon sees bumper harvest

In the Persimmon Industry Demonstration Park in Manjuan village, Liuzhai town, Nandan county, Hechi, fruit farmers are currently busy picking, drying, packing and shipping persimmon, making for a busy harvest scene. 

The demonstration park cooperates with farmers, using standardized planting technology, packaging and sales to develop the local fruit industry. In 2021, the production of persimmons is expected to reach 1,000 metric tons, with an output value of 3 million yuan ($470,000) and a profit of 300,000 yuan. The demonstration park is expected to make 15 tons of dried persimmon, with an output value of 300,000 yuan and a profit of 100,000 yuan.
