On Nov 16, Hechi's Nandan county and Libo county in Southwest China's Guizhou province held a signing ceremony for a tourism cooperation agreement at the 2021 Hechi Tourism Development Conference.

According to the agreement, the two counties will work together to formulate plans for the development of tourism, promote economic and tourism cooperation and improve the quality of cross-provincial tourism.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), the two counties will strive to build the Nandan-Lihu-Yaoshan Expressway, promote the effective connection of airport lines, expressways, secondary roads, and scenic highways in the two counties, and open special tourism routes.

At the same time, the two counties will jointly develop tourism products, build a national cross-provincial tourism corridor and boutique route, and enhance the influence of the Baikuyao tourism brand. They will also explore the implementation of a "joint ticket" for scenic spots in the two counties, realize smart tourism data sharing, and jointly promote specialty tourism and agricultural products.

Nandan and Libo have also held a promotional activity to benefit locals. From Jan 1, 2022 to Dec 31, 2024, residents of the two counties will be able to enjoy free admission to all A-level scenic spots in the other's cities using their ID cards.
