Hechi promotes agricultural products at Guangzhou fair

The 2021 Guangdong-Guangxi Cooperation Consumption Matchmaking Event and 20th Guangxi Famous, Special and High-quality Agricultural Products Fair concluded in Guangzhou on Nov 7, during which Hechi promoted its agricultural products and saw strong results. 

Eleven counties and districts in Hechi made an appearance at the exhibition, bringing with them a total of 54 enterprises and 226 varieties of high-quality agricultural products.

During the exhibition, a steady stream of guests visited Hechi's exhibition area, where they experienced famous Hechi products such as selenium-rich rice, camellia oil, and mulberry silk products, and tasted fresh fruits, beef strips, konjac and chestnuts.

On Nov 5, the event arranged four companies to conduct three live streams, with a total audience of more than 200,000 people.

In recent years, Hechi has been vigorously developing its agricultural industries. The industries surrounding major products such as walnuts, sugarcane, fruits, selenium-enriched agricultural products, beef and sheep have developed rapidly and are becoming well-known around the world.

In 2020, the city built a total of 2,184 agricultural demonstration zones, including 39 autonomous-region-level core demonstration zones. There are 215 Hechi agricultural products certified as geographical indication products, 30 certified as selenium-enriched agricultural products, and 17 certified by Shenzhen as high-quality agricultural products.
