Hechi's foreign trade growth rate ranks first in Guangxi in Jan-Sept

According to Hechi Customs, in the first three quarters of this year, the total value of Hechi's foreign trade was 4.83 billion yuan ($755 million), a year-on-year increase of 67.3 percent, with the growth rate ranking first in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. 

Specifically, the exports totaled 1.6 billion yuan, increasing by a factor of 2.5. The growth rate of exports has now ranked first in the region for eight consecutive months.

In order to promote the steady growth of foreign trade, officials of the Hechi Customs and the Hechi municipal bureau of commerce regularly visit import and export enterprises to understand the challenges facing by them and actively provide personalized services to help them solve challenges.

In addition, the related departments tailored assistance programs for key enterprises. For example, the city expanded the import and export channels of Guangxi Nandan Nanfang Metal Company by promoting the reform of mineral products supervision.

The company has seen rapid development as a result. In the first three quarters, its processing foreign trade value accounted for 24.3 percent of the city's total foreign trade value, of which exports were nearly 600 million yuan, increasing by a factor of 2.3. The products are mainly sold to Hong Kong.
