Nandan's economic, social development shows good momentum

Since the beginning of this year, Hechi's Nandan county has shown good economic and social development momentum.  

In the first three quarters, the county is expected to bring in a regional GDP of 9 billion yuan ($1.4 billion), a year-on-year increase of 11.6 percent, and a fiscal revenue of 1.05 billion yuan, which is a year-on-year increase of 32.6 percent. The gross industrial output value above designated size is 15.85 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34 percent.

In addition, the county's fixed asset investment witnessed an increase of 96 percent, and the total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 20.5 percent year on year. The total foreign trade imports and exports increased by 61 percent year on year, and the per capita disposable income of urban residents was 19,586 yuan, a nominal increase of 12.5 percent. The per capita disposable income of rural residents was 6,334 yuan, a nominal increase of 16.2 percent.

Nandan has steadily promoted the establishment of its national tourism demonstration zone. During the National Day holiday this year, the county received 219,900 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 52.3 percent, and the total tourism consumption was 143 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 65.4 percent.

Nandan has continuously optimized its business environment and achieved remarkable results. From January to September, the county's investment promotion funds were 3.06 billion yuan, and 157 percent of the annual tasks were completed.
