Hechi community recognized as national key village for rural tourism

Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the third batch of 199 national rural tourism key villages and the first batch of 100 national rural tourism key towns.

Among them, three towns in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region were listed in the national key rural tourism towns, and seven villages or communities in Guangxi were selected in the national key rural tourism villages. Duonu community in Hechi's Nandan county made the national key rural tourism villages list.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism requires all localities to strengthen support for key rural tourism villages and towns in terms of policies, funds, markets, and talents.

There are 6,489 Baikuyao people who live in the community. In recent years, Nandan county has made use of Baikuyao's unique cultural resources to develop its tourism industry.
