Hechi to open 5th CPC congress

The fifth CPC Hechi municipal congress is about to open, and Party representatives from all walks of life in the city arrived on-site on Aug 29.

"As a Party representative from the grassroots level, I am very honored and feel deeply responsible," Party representative Huang Lian said. "During the congress, I will seriously perform my duties and maintain an in-depth understanding of the spirit of the congress. Meanwhile, I will actively offer suggestions for the development of Hechi."

Party representative Qin Zhongxiong said that Hechi has experienced great changes in the past five years. The non-ferrous metals and high-tech industries are booming and poverty alleviation was successfully accomplished. As a representative of an industrial enterprise, he looks forward to the congress very much and firmly believes that the congress will draw a grand blueprint for the economic and social development of Hechi in the next five years.

As the fall semester is coming and the county's education reform, known as "double reduction", is implemented, Shi Qiuxiang, Party representative and principal of Yizhou District No 1 Primary School, hopes that this congress will put forward specific guidelines on the implementation of the new education policy, and Shi also hopes that representatives can pay more attention to the actual effect of the policy, so that the policy can truly benefit people's livelihoods.
