The 2021 China-ASEAN International Forum on Traditional Medicine and Health Tourism will be held in Hechi's Bama Yao autonomous county in October this year for three days, Hechi Daily reported on Aug 10.

The purpose of this forum is to discuss how the COVID-19 epidemic is currently affecting traditional medicine and the health tourism industry between China and ASEAN countries. The forum will also discuss the trend and path of the integration of traditional medicine and health tourism as well as map out the future of sustainable development of health tourism and international cooperation between China and ASEAN countries to build a closer China-ASEAN community.

The forum will be held both online and on-site. Domestic guests will be invited to attend the on-site events in Bama while overseas guests will attend the event online.

The forum is one of China-ASEAN Expo's international forums series. It was first held in 2015, and it permanently settled in Bama in 2019. It is held every two years, and this year's forum marks its fourth session.
