A plaque was unveiled on July 1 for the Hechi cultural relics bureau, which has been set up by the Hechi culture, tourism, sports, radio and television bureau with the aim of promoting cultural tourism and ensuring the protection of cultural relics.

Hechi has a long history and profound cultural accumulations. At present, it has 1,078 immovable cultural relics, including four key cultural relics protected at national-level, 38 at autonomous-region-level, and 294 at county-level. There are also 4,838 cultural relics in Hechi's museums.

The city of Hechi has attached great importance to the protection of its cultural relics. It has made great efforts to promote their rational use, and promote the integration of cultural relics and tourism.

The opening of Hechi cultural relics bureau signifies that the city's cultural relic work has entered a new stage of development. The staff of the bureau will further enhance the management and protection of the city's cultural relics, as well as boost their protection, inheritance and utilization.
