In recent years, Hechi's Tian'e county has been making efforts to comprehensively promote rural revitalization.

As part of this, the county officially established its rural revitalization and reservoir immigration bureau, marking the moment that its rural revitalization strategy entered a new phase in its journey.

Strings of Longtan pearl plums hang from the branches in the county's characteristic agriculture demonstration zone, presenting a bumper harvest. Last year, the county's Longtan pearl plums achieved an output value of nearly 500 million yuan ($77.3 million). The county currently has a total of 198,000 mu (13,200 hectares) of fruit, 195,700 mu of walnuts, and 185,000 mu of tea oil.

Meanwhile, the county has increased support for the cultivation of a number of leading enterprises, farmers cooperatives, family farms and other new agricultural business entities. There are now 281 specialized farmer cooperatives and 254 family farms in the county, driving over 6,200 farmers to participate in agricultural industrialization.

The county has improved the training of technological personnel to help rural revitalization. In 2020, nine farmer training sessions were carried out in the county, training 204 new professional farmers; 240 training courses on practical agricultural techniques were also held, and 16,000 farmers participated.

In addition, the county has implemented measures including remodeling farmhouses and constructing vegetable and fruit gardens to create a clean rural environment. The county has increased its capital input and made full use of local natural and folk culture resources to develop its tourism industry.
