Technical services accelerate Tian'e's agricultural production

Tian'e county in Hechi has been strengthening its technical support services for agricultural production over the past year, Hechi Daily reported on April 23.

With a focus on agricultural production targets and layouts, the county has organized agricultural technicians to carry out technology training and services, boosting industrial efficiency and increasing farmers' incomes.

Tian'e county has accelerated the informatization of its agriculture services, popularizing the application of "China agri-tech extension", and WeChat and QQ groups among farmers and agricultural technicians to increase the service efficiency of agricultural science and technology.

Meanwhile, offline agri-tech services like policy publicity campaigns, technical guidance, training, and information services have been carried out in Tian'e county.

The county has completed a spring crop sowing area of 195,500 mu (13,033 hectares) this year, including 152,300 mu of grain crops and 43,200 mu of cash crops.

A total of 288 agricultural technicians have participated in online services, answering 540 questions and releasing 380 agricultural technical information bulletins. They have also organized offline services for 1,200 people, held 104 training courses on practical rural techniques, and trained 6,000 farmers.

The county has accelerated the construction of its agricultural technical demonstration bases and promoted advanced agricultural production technologies, as well as improving farmers' scientific awareness and their ability to use technology. A total of 57 agricultural technical demonstration bases have been created so far, covering 18,400 mu.

The county has also strengthened its monitoring of agricultural markets, and strictly dealt with all violations of laws and regulations to ensure the security of agricultural materials. The county has sent a total of 88 agricultural law enforcement personnel to inspect 107 agricultural management stores, rectified 21 agricultural markets, and distributed 1,152 publicity materials this year.
