Hechi deputies, members ready for two sessions

A delegation of six deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) and members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) from Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, has arrived in Beijing, Hechi Daily reported on March 4.

Wei Zhaohui, deputy mayor of Hechi, has been an NPC deputy for four years.

She said that the year 2021 is a very special and important year, as it marks the centenary of the Communist Party of China. It is also the first year in China's implementation of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25), and a year in which the country will embark on a new journey towards building a modern socialist country.

Wei added that she will make suggestions in areas spanning rural revitalization, construction of high-speed railways and the further development of the Shenzhen-Bama Big Health Cooperation Special Pilot Zone, striving to let Hechi gain more national support and boost the high-quality development of Hechi both in terms of its economy and society.
