Huanjiang youth volunteers offer a helping hand to migrants during travel rush

A total of 48 youth volunteers went to Huanjiang bus station in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region from Feb 8 to 9 and from Feb 14 to 17 to offer voluntary services to passengers and staff members at the station.

The program has been run by volunteers in Huanjiang for six consecutive years. They help passengers in areas such as buying tickets, looking after their luggage and offering emergency rescue.

"Volunteers offered to help me with my luggage as soon as I arrived at the entrance of the bus station, because I had a lot of things with me. They really offered a lot of convenience for us passengers," said Qin Weilan, a passenger at Huanjiang bus station.

"I'm really happy that I could be a member of the voluntary program and offer help for passengers during the Spring Festival travel rush," said a volunteer named He Xiangling.
