More than 1,000 camellia plants have begun to blossom in Hechi's Jinchengjiang district, attracting crowds of citizens to parks, squares and green spaces to enjoy the beauty of the flowers, local media outlets reported on Feb 6.

Jinchengjiang district is home to more than 30 varieties of camellias in different colors, including red, white, pink and gold. The colorful flowers and their pleasant fragrance are creating a happy atmosphere ahead of the upcoming Spring Festival, which this year falls on Feb 12.
