Silk culture fashion show staged in Yizhou

Two silk cultural fashion shows were staged in the Civic Cultural Square of Yizhou district, Hechi on the evening of Nov 25 and the morning of Nov 26, allowing the audience to fully appreciate the unique charm of local silk culture.

The two T-stage shows were one of the sub-events of the 2020 China (Hechi) Silk Conference and China Silk Fair. The clothing for the fashion shows were mainly qipao, as well as traditional Chinese-style white and red dresses. The shows not only served the theme of the 2020 China (Hechi) Silk Conference and China Silk Fair, but also aimed to demonstrate the current trends and infinite possibilities of silk products.

An exhibition of crochet works by Liang Aiping, a master of arts and crafts from Yizhou, was specially arranged for the event, showcasing the distinctive style of Liang's combination of exquisite crochet technique and silk production.
