To date, the Laibin-Du'an Expressway, which is the last section of the Hezhou-Bama Expressway project, has completed an investment of 3.45 billion yuan ($513.98 million) in 2020, completing 150 percent of the investment target assigned by the Transportation Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The project department has actively organized all units participating in the construction to accelerate production.

As of now, the Laibin-Du'an Expressway project has measured a total of 12,340.86 mu (822.72 hectares) of red line area, and about 129.91 kilometers of construction land has been actually transferred, including 43.87 km in tunnels, accounting for 96.94 percent of the design. A total of 36 main-line bridges have been started, while 17 of the 18 tunnels have been opened.
