Dahua to complete 5G construction in 2020

Dahua Yao autonomous county signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with China Mobile Guangxi Company's Hechi branch to accelerate the county's digital construction. This is of great significance for promoting economic restructuring, industrial optimization and upgrading, as well as improving the quality of life of Dahua residents.

Based on 5G and new infrastructure, the two parties will build new momentum for economic transformation and development, as well as accelerate the formation of a new engine for economic and social development.

According to the agreement, China Mobile's Hechi Branch will make full use of its industry-leading advantages in information infrastructure construction, technological innovation, as well as financial strength to help improve the overall digitalization level of Dahua.

China Mobile's Hechi branch will further increase investment and resource allocation, as well as prioritize the adoption of new-generation information technologies like cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence to help Dahua government agencies at all levels, enterprises, and institutions reduce operating costs and improve work efficiency, thus enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of Dahua.

The county government will provide supporting policies to the company, as well as vigorously support its informatization service work in the fields of government and enterprises.

China Mobile’s Hechi branch will prioritize the completion of 5G network construction in the urban area of Dahua this year. It will also expand the coverage of rural networks to help poverty alleviation and rural revitalization efforts. The remote business advantages of 5G networks will strongly support the coordination of remote video conferencing systems and the sharing of telemedicine resources, making 5G an internal development driving force for poverty alleviation and rural revitalization efforts.
