Huanjiang increases introduction of GBA enterprises

In the first half of this year, Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county in Hechi has built relationships with 18 enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Six projects have been signed and two projects are planned to be signed, of which five projects have started.

It is expected that more than 10 investment projects will be signed throughout the year, with a total investment of more than 2.5 billion yuan ($369.18 million).

In recent years, Huanjiang has carried out various tasks to increase the introduction of Greater Bay Area enterprises to cultivate and expand industrial clusters, as well as to improve the level of real economy development.

The main leaders of the county's Party committee have led teams to the cities of the Greater Bay Area to carry out precise investment promotion, on-site visit, and project promotion, attracting investment and reaching cooperation intention agreements.

The county government leaders have regularly organized special meetings to study and formulate the work plan of docking with Greater Bay Area enterprises, as well as preferential policies for investment promotion.

The county has strengthened the construction of park infrastructure, enhanced the attractiveness and carrying capacity of industrial parks, as well as focused on the construction of a number of infrastructure projects that accelerate the development of the parks or the settlement of industrial projects.

Huanjiang has hired experienced planning companies to plan, prepare, and package investment projects around advantageous industries, advantageous resources, as well as key enterprises. It has also explored new investment means and methods, as well as expanded investment channels and models.

In response to the impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic this year, the county launched an investment promotion model combining online investment and offline investment, conducting online negotiations with merchants through online video conferences and live streaming.

The county has also made efforts to improve its business environment, spanning simplified project approval, refined project management, and efficient investment promotion mechanisms.
