Du'an signs projects worth $248m with GBA enterprises

Du'an Yao autonomous county in Hechi has signed contracts worth 1.7 billion yuan ($248.29 million) with two enterprises from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area at an investment promotion conference held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province from Sept 1 to 3.

To date, Du'an has implemented a total of 14 investment promotion projects, with 1.31 billion yuan of funds in place inside and outside Guangxi.

The county has improved its business environment this year by implementing related policies, strengthening the construction of smart government affairs, promoting the online processing of government services, and giving full play to the role of agency service platforms.

Du'an has strengthened its research and analysis of industrial development and planned 13 attractive industrial projects based on the county's industrial foundations, characteristic advantages and development direction. Promotional videos and brochures were published on platforms such as WeChat and Weibo.

The county has strengthened its "cloud investment promotion" methods such as online publicity, video conferences, and virtual inspections to further promote industries such as health tourism, biomedicine, modern logistics, modern characteristic agriculture, distribution processing trade, and more.

Du'an has also made efforts to improve facility construction. It has accelerated the construction of standard workshops in the Guangdong-Guangxi Poverty Alleviation Industrial Park. At present, three standard workshops have been completed and eight enterprises have settled in the park.
