3 enterprises win highest quality honor award of Hechi

Three companies in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, namely Guangxi Jialian Silk Co, the Dahua Hydroelectric Power Plant of Guangxi Guiguan Electric Power Co, and Guangxi Bama Tourism Co, received the 3rd Hechi Mayor Quality Award on Sept 2.

The Hechi Mayor Quality Award is the highest quality honor award established by the Hechi government. It is awarded to businesses or organizations in the city for implementing an excellent performance management model, leading their industry in quality management and independent innovation capabilities, as well as achieving significant economic and social benefits.

The award is selected once every two years by voluntary application. The Hechi government will commend and reward the winning enterprises or organizations with a one-time award of 300,000 yuan ($43,922.76) each.

Hechi launched the first selection of the award in 2013, with six companies declaring and two companies winning the title. The second selection was carried out at the end of 2016, with two companies winning the award.

In September 2019, Hechi launched the third session of the Hechi Mayor Quality Award. After various strict examinations, the aforementioned three companies finally stood out and won this honor.
