Hechi has recently taken measures to develop its nighttime economy to boost consumption, create jobs, and raise the quality of life such as allowing mobile vendors back on the streets in the city. The "stall economy" has been widely welcomed by city residents and praised for injecting vitality into the city's nightlife.

According to the living habits of residents, as well as the needs of mobile vendors for on-site development and centralized management, the Hechi administration and law enforcement bureau has set up temporary mobile stalls in several places like non-arterial roads in the city's downtown and public areas with open conditions.

At present, the city is accelerating the formulation of the management plan for the temporary operation areas in Jinchengjiang district, Hechi, as well as refining management measures. Appropriate optimization and adjustments are also being made in light of the operating characteristics of the current temporary open business areas.

Under the premise of not occupying sidewalks and fire-fighting passages, not infringing on the rights of others, not affecting traffic order, as well as ensuring safety and environmental sanitation, the city will tap into its urban space resources and reasonably set up temporary operating areas to activate the vitality of the urban nighttime economy.

To date, Hechi, as well as the counties and districts under its jurisdiction, have opened 132 temporary operation areas, enabling 6,926 mobile vendors to carry out their businesses and directly or indirectly creating 5,356 jobs.
