The first batch of 24-hour smart libraries in Bama Yao autonomous county, Hechi officially opened on Aug 7, marking a new step in the promotion of the nationwide reading project in the county.

The completion of these libraries and reading rooms has added to the cultural offerings of this famous tourist destination.

Two libraries were opened at the same time at Chengdong Plaza and Mujishan Plaza. Readers can enjoy self-service in borrowing, returning, and reading books, while the library ensures the safety of books through smart security technology, as well as creates an elegant and quiet reading atmosphere for readers.

The 24-hour smart libraries will allow readers to borrow books anytime and anywhere without the restrictions of geographical location and time. This has accelerated the efficiency of book circulation, extended library services, as well as truly realized 24-hour borrowing and return services for readers.
