Hechi Customs aids export of Huanjiang specialties
Hechi Customs has played a role in helping lift Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region out of poverty and foster new growth points for the export-oriented economy of local specialties.
According to local conditions and relying on the advantages of national characteristics, Hechi Customs has explored and utilized the influence of brand effects, actively promoting Huanjiang fragrant pigs, a special product of the county, to apply for the designation of China Protected Geographical Indication Product, which has brought economic benefits to more than 2,000 farmers.
Hechi Customs has also made suggestions to promote the export of frozen silkworm chrysalis, the main by-product of the cocoon silk industry, helping stabilize the quality and enhance international competitiveness of the products.
In addition, Hechi Customs has also contributed to Huanjiang's poverty alleviation efforts in exporting fruit and wood products. In the future, it will further optimize services, increase support for the export of special products of the Maonan ethnic group, as well as guide enterprises to improve their quality management system and expand their international markets.
