Huanjiang exports first batch of medical supplies
A total of 10,000 infrared thermometers, with a value of more than 2 million yuan ($282,788.47), produced by an enterprise in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi was sent to Southeast Asia and South America on April 20.
This was the first batch of anti-novel coroanvirus (COVID-19) epidemic medical supplies exported after the county resumed work following the COVID-19 outbreak.
The thermometers were produced by Guangxi Yihongkang Medical Instrument Co, a subsidiary of Guangxi Huawei Technology Co, an information and smart tech high-end enterprise integrating the design, research and development, manufacturing, as well as sales of mobile phones, which was established in Huanjiang in 2019.

In order to support the global COVID-19 epidemic fight, Yihongkang expanded its research and development of new projects, producing the internationally-used V100 infrared thermometer. At present, the company has two production lines for thermometers with a daily output of 10,000 units and a price of about 200 yuan per unit. The products are mainly for international markets, such as Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa.
After learning that the thermometer produced by the company had obtained a medical device product registration certificate and foreign orders, the Huanjiang industry and information department investigated the company and detailed the current policies, helping the enterprise successfully complete the export.
