Two forest parks in Hechi promoted to national level

Hongshui River Forest Park in Donglan county and Lalang Forest Farm in Yizhou district have been selected to be part of the first batch of national forestry bases for rehabilitation by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Health Commission, and the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Located in the south of Donglan county in Hechi and in the middle section of the Hongshui River, Hongshui River Forest Park includes an autonomous region-level forest park, Pohao Lake National Wetland Park, and Donglan River Valley Tourist Resort. The forest coverage rate of Donglan county is 82.72 percent, and the content of negative oxygen ions in the air is as high as 30,000-50,000 per cubic centimeter.

Lalang Forest Farm has a forest coverage rate of 76.91 percent. It boasts large-scale rare tree bases, special breeding farms, car camping sites, as well as other tourism, leisure, and sports facilities. It also possesses health apartments, ancient-style inns, and ecological restaurants.
