The convergence media platform for online government consulting of Hechi, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was officially launched on April 2, becoming the broadest and most abundant one in Guangxi.
The platform includes five main sections, including government affairs inquiry, department information, message processing, hotspot survey and ranking of popular questions. Top leaders at the city-, county (district)-, and township (street)- level will log into the platform with their real names and handle messages from users in real time.
Users can log in to the platform through channels like their PC, mobile phone app, WeChat public account, government websites, and the convergence media platforms of the county (district). They will be able to ask for information at any time from any location and receive advice in a variety of mediums spanning video, voice, pictures, and text.
The new convergence media platform is a specific exploration of conducting innovative online governance with big data technology and a goal of optimizing the business environment in the city. It will help to achieve the normal and efficient operation of online government administration, as well as promote the in-depth development of online government management.
Leaders at all levels in the city are required to further strengthen their level of internet thinking and promote internet-based administration through the convergence media platform.
A working mechanism of online government affairs will also be established and improved to strengthen evaluation and supervision, as well as ensure that any problems brought up by the public can be solved as soon as possible.
