Hechi donates anti-epidemic materials to Philippine sister city
Hechi in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region donated a batch of anti-novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic materials to its international friendship city Mangaldan, Philippines on March 28 to help the local COVID-19 prevention and control efforts.
The anti-epidemic materials included 500 N95 masks, 20,000 disposable medical masks, and 10,000 disposable facial masks, worth about 78,000 yuan ($10,991.93).
Hechi and Mangaldan signed the letters of intent for their international friendship city relations on Sept 21, 2019 in Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi. It is expected that the two cities will discuss potential exchanges and cooperation in the areas of agriculture, science and technology, tourism, education, as well as culture on the basis of enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between their residents.
