First 5G temperature measurement system put into use in Hechi

A 5G thermal imagery temperature measurement system, the first of its kind in Hechi, was put into use in the city's People's Hospital on Feb 13.

The system can automatically measure the body temperature of people entering the hospital and give timely warnings. It has an average temperature error of 0.1 C. It can reduce the human cost of manual testing and the risks of cross-infection of the novel coronavirus, as well as improve the efficiency of testing.

Since the the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak began, Hechi has been devoted to preventing and controlling the epidemic.

More sets of the 5G thermal imagery temperature measurement system will be applied to places with a large flow of people, as part of the city's coronavirus prevention and control efforts.
