More than 200,000 volunteers have devoted themselves to supporting Hechi in the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus since the outbreak of the epidemic.

The volunteers were recruited both online and offline by the 19 professional volunteer service teams in the city, as well as the 1,794 volunteer service teams from the county, township, and village-level New Era Civilization Practice Centers.

Carrying mobile loudspeakers and publicity materials, volunteers have gone out onto the streets and into communities to pass on information about the control and prevention of coronavirus to people in the city.

At the same time, the city's social voluntary service organizations, working as bridges to the business community, pulled together donations of more than 1 million yuan ($143,420) from relevant enterprises' charitable foundations, as well as over 80,000 masks and a batch of fruit, milk and other items.
