Brunei donates masks to aid Hechi’s fight against virus

Brunei has donated a batch of 50,000 surgical masks to Hechi, in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, with the aim of helping Hechi to prevent and control the spread of the novel coronavirus.

The masks, valued at 100,000 yuan ($14,340), arrived at Nanning Wuxu International Airport in Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi, on Feb 4.

The Brunei Ministry of Finance and Economy made this donation through Guangxi Ruian Logistics (Group) Co Ltd.

The enterprise established the China-Brunei Global Operation Center for Spice Processing and Trading by cooperating with the ministry's Strategic Investment Development Foundation. The center has built three bases, one of which is located in Fengshan county, Hechi.
