Jinchengjiang strives to contain virus outbreak

A slew of measures have recently been taken in Jinchengjiang district in Hechi to improve public awareness of the novel coronavirus and to contain the virus outbreak.
By Feb 3, the district had distributed a total of 536,240 copies of publicity materials about coronavirus prevention and control, sent 221,288 text messages to its residents, and put up 10,733 promotional banners, 81,006 slogans, and 1,026 publicity boards.
In addition, loudspeakers, broadcasts, publicity vans and LED screens were used to publicize information about the control and prevention of coronavirus in the district.
A total of 1,756 pieces of virus-related news were published on the district government's official website and WeChat accounts.
The district's weather broadcast circulates information on prevention and control in villages and communities at 11:30 am and 5:30 pm every day.
