Hechi opens first rural commercial bank

Bama Rural Commercial Bank Co Ltd opened in Bama Yao autonomous county in Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Jan 9, the first of its kind in the city.

The bank is a joint-stock commercial bank founded on the basis of the Bama Rural Credit Cooperative Association, which is expected to lay a solid foundation for the establishment of a modern rural financial system in the county and support rural revitalization efforts.

It presently has 14 banking offices around Bama and a total of 146 on-post staff. It is the financial institution in the county with the most employees, the largest scale of assets, the widest service network, and the largest support for local economic development.

"We will continue to serve the micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Bama, and support the development of the county's economy," said Huang Yuanguo, chairman of the board of the bank.

We will also build the bank into a modern financial enterprise with sound rules and regulations, added Huang.
