Investment in Nandan reaches $1.67b in 2019

Investment in Nandan county, Hechi in 2019 reached 11.54 billion yuan ($1.67 billion), a fivefold increase from the previous year, according to the county's investment promotion bureau.

It was the first time that the annual investment in the county exceeded 10 billion yuan, the bureau said.

The county participated in five and organized three investment promotion activities in 2019.

Fourteen projects, covering fields of agriculture, tourism, medical treatment, nonferrous metals, environmental protection, city construction, big data, and new energy, were introduced to Nandan in 2019, double the number of 2018.

In addition, Fortune Global 500 and China's top 500 companies invested in Nandan in 2019 for the first time, the bureau noted.
