Hechi's GDP expected to rise 6.5% in 2019

The GDP of Hechi, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was predicted to increase by 6.5 percent in 2019, according to the government work report released at the fifth session of the fourth Hechi Municipal People's Congress, which was held on Jan 7.
According to the report, the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size, which are those with annual primary business revenue of 20 million yuan ($2.89 million) or more, would increase by 5 percent.
The city's fixed-asset investment in 2019 is projected to see a year-on-year growth of 15 percent, while the total retail sales of consumer goods are expected to grow by 7 percent.
The per capita disposable income of the city's urban residents was predicted to increase by 7.6 percent in 2019, while that of rural residents is expected to have an increase of 10 percent, the report said.
The Hechi municipal government also set out its development goals for 2020 in the report.
It is expected that the regional GDP in 2020 will grow by around 6.5 percent, while the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size will increase by 7 percent.
The total retail sales of consumer goods and the per capita disposable income of the city's residents will rise by 9 percent and 8 percent respectively. The total volume of foreign trade will increase by 5 percent.
