Shenzhen foundation donates equipment to Hechi Daily

Printing equipment worth 2 million yuan ($285,875) was donated to Hechi Daily by Shenzhen Zhang Yujun Public Welfare Foundation to set up a digital printing center, with the donation ceremony held on Dec 17.

Huang Lei, secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and president of Hechi Daily, said that Shenzhen is paired to help Hechi with its poverty alleviation efforts and has contributed greatly.

The establishment of the digital printing center can help Hechi Daily open up the book printing market in Hechi and Guangxi, as well as accelerate its process of integrating new and smart media, added Huang.

Since 2009, Zhang Yujun Public Welfare Foundation has donated more than 11 million yuan to help build teaching buildings, dormitories, canteens, water tanks, roads, and libraries for impoverished people in Tian'e, Bama, Fengshan, Huanjiang, Donglan, Dahua, Du'an, and Yizhou in the city.

Zhang Yujun, founder of Shenzhen Nanling Tielang Football Club, has been devoted to helping impoverished areas around the country in recent years.
