Emerging industries enrich Bama villagers
Bama Yao autonomous county, located in the Dashi Mountain area, is a national-level poverty-stricken county in Hechi. Xishan township in the county has been developing emerging industries in recent years, such as New Zealand rabbit and bamboo rat breeding, to increase the incomes of impoverished people.
Through an industrialized operation model, the town has actively developed its collective economy. To date, the total output value of the New Zealand rabbit and bamboo rat breeding farms in the town's Jia'er village has reached 500,000 yuan ($71,162.42).
