Guangxi anniversary celebrated with calligraphy and paintings
Jinchengjiang district in Hechi city hosted a painting and calligraphy exhibition to celebrate the 60th anniversary of China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Nov 22.
Artists from around the country took part in the event and gave on-site demonstrations of their skills. About 350 works were selected to be displayed at the city sports center until Nov 27.
The event coincided with the 18th Guangxi (Hechi) Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition, co-sponsored by the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conferences of 24 cities (autonomous regions, prefectures and leagues), including Jiaxing of Zhejiang and Yangzhou of Jiangsu.
