Guwen village in Yizhou district, Hechi city has spent the last three years devoting itself to exploring rural tourism to achieve rural revitalization with the help of the publicity department of the Hechi municipal committee.

Located in the north of Yizhou, Guwen village is a remote mountain village with scarce land resources. However, since 2015, the village has become a widely known tourist attraction, hosting over 200,000 visitors and achieving more than three million yuan ($431,624) in tourism revenue.

Dubbed a "Leisure, sightseeing and health resort" demonstration village, it has taken full advantage of the village's abundant tourism and natural resources, as well as its unique ethnic customs. Over the past two years, the village has worked hard to develop into an ecological agriculture tourism resort, providing visitors a pure experience of country life, including fruit picking, catching fish and ducks, leisure wellness in bamboo forests and country homestays.

Relying on its original ecological environment, the village has promoted its planted agricultural products, including downy grapes, mulberry sapling breeding and flower planting, all of which has generated an income of over ten million yuan this year. Additionally, it has explored new approaches to poverty alleviation by selling its products online, offering visitors a convenient customer experience that benefits both locals and visitors.
