Hechi gains $748 million investment at CAEXPO
The city of Hechi has gained a total investment of 5.12 billion yuan at the 15th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) held in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
The investments will be made in Tian'e biomass cogeneration project, Donglan Hongshui River Belt-shaped Park project and rural revitalization and poverty alleviation project of Bama Yao autonomous county.
The 15th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) commenced with a grand opening in Nanning on Wednesday. Hechi government delegation was invited to join the opening ceremony.
Since its founding in 2004, the expo has played an increasingly important role in the China-ASEAN cooperation, and the economic and trade cooperation between the two sides has developed at a rapid pace and brought about fruitful achievements.
With the theme of "Jointly Building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, Forging the China-ASEAN Community of Innovation," this year's expo will highlight high level conferences and forums and a host of economic activities.
Hechi has achieved a total investment of 5.12 billion yuan ($748 million) in Tian'e biomass cogeneration project, Donglan Hongshui River Belt-shaped Park and rural revitalization strategy (a national strategy to promote rural development) of Bama Yao autonomous county conducted by real estate giant Country Garden.
Led by Hechi Party Secretary He Xinxing and Mayor Tang Yunshu, the delegation will participate in the 3rd China-ASEAN Information Harbor Forum, the contract-signing ceremony of the regional investment-promotion projects and Hechi Investment and Cooperation Promotion Conference. Moreover, the city leaders will meet with some important businessmen to seek cooperation opportunities.
