Nandan releases plan to boost tourism
Nandan county of Hechi released a construction plan to set up Jiulonggou Valley Forest Health Tourism Resort on Sept 3, planning to build it into a national 5A comprehensive resort.
Situated in the center and west of the county with a total planning area of 86,700 mu (5,780 hectares), the resort is expected to be China's first night tour park featuring the mountainous topography and tourist summer resort, combining together a holiday atmosphere, a retreat from summer heat, rural recreation, exercise and fitness, and science popularization.
Focusing on the special features of the resort, the county aims to develop the advantages of the cultural tourism and rich natural resources by highlighting the uniqueness and diversity of Nandan to give full play to its honorary titles of "National Garden County", "the Green Lungs Of the City" and "Natural Oxygen Bar". The efforts made by the county will help boost the development of the local tourism industry, and carry out the strategy of all-for-one tourism, meaning driving the economy on all cylinders through tourism boom.
