Relying on unique tourism products, the six-day summer camp was in five major parts, each meant to introduce local cultures. According to the newly released suggestion by the Yizhou education bureau and other government departments, schools should integrate research and study trips s with school courses.

In the summer camp, the students learnt weaving techniques of bamboo products, traditional paper-cuttings, and painting on white moon cakes. They spoke highly of Yizhou's folk customs and culture, including its traditional skills.
