Ecological lotus pond promotes Hechi's tourism

Yadong village in Hechi attracted hundreds of tourists this summer as it ushered in its best season with views of lotus flowers covering an area of nearly 100 mu (6.67 hectares).

Using its excellent natural conditions, Yadong village of Jiuwei town, Jinchengjiang district has devoted itself to aiding the impoverished by tourism development. Enjoying lotus flowers in summer and harvesting fish in autumn, the village has carried out a new operational mode by promoting stereoscopic agriculture, which has brought a win-win result both to the economy and the environment.
