Dahua emphasizes diversified e-commerce for poverty alleviation
Dahua Yao autonomous county in Hechi city has pushed forward the development of rural e-commerce this year by advancing its internet economy, aiming to increase farmers' income and promote rural development.
With the China (Dahua) Hongshui River Longevity Health E-commerce City going into operation on Jan 31, a promising market for local characteristic products had been formed. Meanwhile, Dahua will construct 120 village-level services sites, and one county-level logistics distribution site, all of which will help alleviate the poverty of people in rural areas.
Dahua's e-commerce platforms had generated income of 217, 000 yuan ($32,025) for local impoverished people by the end of June.
