Hechi's gross industrial output rises

Hechi of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region witnessed a steady growth in its gross industrial output from January to May this year.

The gross industrial output of Hechi's enterprises having annual main business income of over 20 million yuan ($3 million) reached 18.19 billion yuan, a growth of 22.7 percent compared with the same period last year. The industrial added value was 6.93 billion yuan, an increase of 19.6 percent over first five months in 2017.

Centering on the leading industries, including nonferrous metals, cocoon silk, electrical energy, calcium carbonate, health and longevity foods and agricultural byproduct processing, Hechi's industry constantly promoted economic growth by improving industrial transformation. Moreover, the government optimized the business environment by simplifying and standardizing administrative procedures for examination and approval.
