Dahua Yao autonomous county in Hechi held a meeting on June 28 to bid farewell to 23 residents who will relocate to China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park in search of a job or other business opportunities.

Dahua Yao autonomous county helps impoverished residents relocate to China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park in hopes of improving their lives.

At present, 1,054 people from 243 families have signed up to relocate to the park.

In order to help the relocated households adjust to life in the park, the management committee arranged for 23 people to leave for the park ahead of their families.

The management committee will also make arrangements for school-age children who plan to attend school in the park.

China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park is the first industrial park to be jointly run by the Chinese and Malaysian governments. It focuses on the development of the manufacturing, IT and service industries.
