Huanjiang holds dragon boat race to celebrate Fenlong Festival

A dragon boat race was held in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, Hechi on June 20 in celebration of the Fenlong Festival and the 60th anniversary of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, attracting over 800 participants from 52 teams.
During the three-day race, each team was limited to 12 people, including one steersman, one drummer and 10 rowers. The race was divided into local and open categories included men and women's 200-meter and 500-meter races.
The race also invited professional single-bamboo drifting teams to perform "water ballet".
The single-bamboo drifters balanced on thin poles of bamboo on the river while also dancing and playing sports.
