Hechi athlete wins 50m backstroke
Peng Qiuping, an athlete from Yizhou district, Hechi in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, won the gold medal in the 50m backstroke with a time of 1:07 at the National Swimming Championship for the Disabled on June 25.

Peng Qiuping will also participate in the 50m freestyle and 100m freestyle on June 26 and June 27, respectively.
In September 2016, Peng Qiuping won two gold medals and one silver medal at the Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games, breaking two world records. She is commonly referred to as the "Swimming Golden Flower".
The swimming championship will last until June 29.
