Bama promotes people's livelihood program
Bama Yao autonomous county, Hechi, in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, has raised 483.82 million yuan ($75.15 million) for a 2018 people's livelihood project.
The funds raised include a central government subsidy of 305.46 million yuan, autonomous region aid of 12.35 million yuan, municipal support of 2.94 million and county financing of 2.54 million yuan.
The people's livelihood project has been adjusted to meet the needs of rural revitalization and development, including subprojects benefiting people on social security, health, education, water conservancy, social housing, farm subsidies, ecology, culture, poverty alleviation and technology.
Bama has urged relevant departments to strengthen supervision and inspection, and to make plans scientifically and carry them out effectively.
It is hoped that the people's livelihood project can be completed before December 2018.
