As an essential part of any nation's spiritual legacy, intangible cultural heritage items should be preserved and showcased in an organized way.
In recent years, Hechi has been exploring multiple systematic, dynamic and productive methods to protect its unique ethnic treasures.
A series of exhibition centers and inheritance bases are already open to the public, helping to bring about a traditional culture renaissance.
Hechi is home to nine state-level, 54 municipal-level and 8,740 county-level intangible cultural heritage items, as well as 12 municipal-level traditional crafts, eight state-level culture inheritors and 57 municipal-level culture inheritors.
An array of vibrant ethnic cultural shows were performed during the grand opening celebration.
