Yizhou district upgrades services

Yizhou district, Hechi city has made significant progress in streamlining administration, delegating powers and improving services, according to local media reports on May 9.

Starting in late 2017, the district has simplified review procedures for 287 administrative approval items and 531 service items. Among these items, 247 (30 percent of all items) will be able to complete review procedures with a single trip to the Government Affairs Office.

Currently, 15 government departments, including Industry and Commerce, Food and Drug, and the Tax Bureau, offer online service platforms. Review procedures for 19 items can be completed entirely online, eliminating the need to visit any offices in person.

The district has initiated a variety of new services and loosened the administrative review process, greatly increasing efficiency and improving the business environment.
